Philosophy The philosophy of the Western Community Housing Inc, Resident Services Program (WRSP) is to provide services that expand low-income residents’ opportunities to live a richer and more enriching life, whatever their age. The WCH Resident Services Program is designed to provide amenities tailored to the needs of the property’s population. By taking In 1999 Western Community Housing (formerly Western Services Foundation) founded More Than Shelter for Seniors, now an independent, stand alone non-profit. MTSFS provides services at WCH senior properties in the Los Angeles - Orange County area.

WRSP is managed by an experienced Director of Resident Services. Through third party contracts, direct service provision and working with local community organizations services are delivered onsite at selected affordable communities. Through these programs residents become more familiar with services in their greater community. At properties where there are no required services for residents, WCH-RSP seeks funds and partners to provide resources that enhance the residents’ quality of life.
