How to Help

Residents of WCH communities are fortunate to have safe, good quality housing. We want to give residents more than that. Selected communities provide opportunities to access classes, computers and activities that enhance the quality of their lives. Western Community strives to provide these resources at every community.

For seniors it may be:

  • A class that teaches them to use the Internet and email, allowing them to communicate with grandchildren and other family members around the world.
  • A place that encourages them to express their creativity
  • A place they can continue to contribute to their community
  • An opportunity to age in place in better  health

For a working mom it may be:

  • Helping her create a resume that moves her to a better job
  • Helping her with a few extra groceries and budget planning
  • An opportunity to learn new life skills

For a teenager it may be:

  • A place to learn about options for college
  • Help in getting that first job

For a younger child it may be:

  • A place to get help with homework
  • A chance to express themselves creatively

All these things can be accomplished with your financial support.
